Additional Team/Program Rules & Guidelines

TRANSPORTATION - All varsity players ride the bus to and from matches.

No exceptions. No Food or drinks consumed on bus.  


JV Team Players - Must stay for one Varsity Set (home and away).  They need to be available to shag balls for the varsity.   The varsity team will be early to matches to shag for the JV team as well.  JV players will be allowed to ride home with parents after the first set.


UNIFORM INFO

One Jersey is provided to players / players provide own shorts.

Shorts - Color - Navy / no other colors / small brand logo ok Type: Volleyball Shorts or Comfortable Solid Navy Shorts (no trim)  You do not have to wear spandex


100% Commitment to Volleyball During Volleyball Season. Attendance may effect playing time. 


Bring own water bottle / personal hand sanitizer


No jewelry for games (not a league rule, but is a coaches rule) 


Playing time - We do not discuss playing time.  It is at the coaches' discretion and based on the player's skill, coachability, attendance and on the level of the opposing team.   Reminder -- the 


Pre-Game Routines

 

Girls Pre-Game Routine: 

Team representatives meet with officials for ground rules and coin toss. The clock for the warm-up period will not begin until the team representatives are released.


  • Set clock 23 minutes for shared court time. No hitting or serving during this time.
  • At 19:00 visiting team takes full court (4 minutes in total)
  • At 15:00 home team takes full court (4 minutes in total)
  • At 11:00 visiting team takes full court (5 minutes in total)
  • At 6:00 home team takes full court (5 minutes in total)
  • Team announcements/national anthem
  • 1:00 remains on clock for starters to get on the end line and ready to play



Reminders:

  • We are switching sides after each set. Remind players on the right side of the court to run around the R1.


  • Shaking hands before and after match.
