Current 8th grade athletes who played on Coach Smart's team and plan to try out for the JV team in the fall are invited to participate in tournament.. Email Coach Smart rsmart@jecsd.org if you would like to participate. You can pay online at links below.
Current 7th grade athletes that were on Coach Smart's team that may be interested in the tournament will be put on a waiting list. Email Coach Smart rsmart@jecsd.org your athlete's interest. Do not pay anything yet.

Important: When you pay for your entry fee and if you ordered a shirt - you must forward me your receipt to rsmart@jecsd.org player name & shirt size (if ordered)
I need shirt orders by April 19th Shirts are optional and may be available day of tournament for $25.

- JV Tournament - Saturday, May 30th
- Varsity Tournament - Sunday, May 31st
- Location: SUNY Cortland – Lusk Fieldhouse (transportation not provided)
- Cost: $250 per team ($20 per player) / no refunds
- Number of players will be limited to who registers and pays first.
- We will have at least 2 to 3 practice sessions at JE gyms. Sunday mornings or evenings.
This is a HIGH SCHOOL friendship tournament, not a club tournament. It’s a great opportunity to a club-style experience while allowing players to compete with their 2026 high school teammates during the offseason. Also a great opportunity to give any of our kids who do not play club, a club style tournament experience.
Each day will be a pool play schedule with 4-team pools on all 6 courts and then bronze silver and gold playoffs for both JV and Varsity.
This event is unique in that all large and small schools—winter and fall programs, and teams from section 3, 4 and 5—are all able to compete together across the beautiful SUNY Cortland Campus and get a look at our 2026 teams. We will have local college coaches in attendance to help expose our athletes to nearby opportunities.

JE Wraps Up Their Season
The varsity volleyball team wrapped up the season in the sectional semifinals on November 5th. They played tough, taking the #1 seed Bishop Ludden Grimes 25-19 in the first set and kept it close in the last 3.
Huge congrats to Zoie Karcz for a season of hard work and for breaking JE’s all-time career assist record! - 777.
